It’s been a difficult week for our family. Three of our members, Me-Asha-Gea were all sick.
Asha was the first one who got ill. She cough and sneeze non-stop. After a few days of cough syrup and nothing seems improving, I take her to the doctor and the doctor diagnose her with light asthma. She need to be ventilated. After a few days taking the doctor’s prescription she’s getting much better and starting to do her old jumping-screaming acts. Good for you Asha!
Then, it was Gea’s turn. And me. We were both sick almost at the same time. And I found that I also having difficulty breathing. This cough was intense and it also affecting my hearing.
I had to postpone some work and I haven’t got the energy to do household work, especially since my household assistant is off on weekend. So there you are, one sick mother with two little monster coughing over and over.
It may be good to stop the co-sleeping, at least for Asha now that she’ s almost four. It could prevent the sick one to spread her illness to the other family members. But, it’s not as easy to done as compare to speak it.
It’s already Monday again and I need to jump on to work. Sick or not sick, show must go on. I hope that as soon as one of us is recover, the other will follow after.
And one makes three.
