You know that resolutions that you made in the new year so passionately, and that moment of dejavu when you pour them into bullet points in your sweet-neat, rainbow-colored note book (or in my case, in my sweet-neat wordpress pages) and the fact that some (or most) of those resolutions was apparently a copy-paste from the previous year’s resolutions?
Well, at least, that’s what happen to me.
I am not very good at long term resolution. I am not very good at keeping them. Not that I am indicating that I am lack of commitment. It’s just that a year is a long term period for me and it is hard for me to commit to something that span for that long, unless I am bound to a contract. Instead of resolution, I respond better to challenges. So, I created this weekly challenge for myself. Why do I do that? To keep me busy of course🙂
My challenge this week is to:
1. Restrain myself from stalking someone’s fb. YES, I admit! I have been sneaking on someone’s fb profile trying to identify this person’s weaknesses! No, I am kidding. I am just simply curious🙂
2. Restraining myself from consuming refined carbohydrates except for white rice. This includes white bread, white sugar, wheat flour-based food (cakes, pastries, cookies, etc)
If I manage to do this by the end of the week, then I shall reward myself with a big, sweet treats. I am talking about something to-die-for here. Something that kills it! Something like a fruit- filled moist chocolate cake covered with cream and chocolate mousse, topped with chocolate shavings and whipped. Actually, a simple matcha cream cake shall do, but then again, why aim for the good one if you could go for the sinful one🙂
I may provide an update once a day over my progress in this challenge. Ooh, I am so excited!🙂
